Quality Control We consider monitoring our work to be a key element in ensuring customer satisfaction and therefore have a full quality management system in place in line with ISO9001 2008. This system provides a process approach so that all our staff members are clear on their role in the continuous improvement of our services and on the objectives of the company.
Health & Safety Health and Safety is at the forefront of all our work and we expect all our personnel to follow our policy and guidelines. D B Services is fully accredited by Safecontractor and our Health and Safety Manager is IOSH qualified. Under his direction and our Health and Safety committee’s guidelines and policies all staff members receive thorough Health and Safety training to ensure best practice.
Customer Care Customer satisfaction is essential for our success as an organisation and therefore we have a dedicated manager and team to achieve our goals. All employees undergo customer care training and this gives them the tools to deal with any situation that may arise during their work in a professional manner. Our staff members are encouraged to work with our clients and listen to their feedback to ensure they are satisfied with the work we are providing.
Working in the Community We believe in working with local communities to achieve shared aims and this is often by working with housing associations or in the general community as a whole. We participated in South London Jobs Fair 2012 and through this offered a number of positions to the local community and housing association residents. We have also worked with 3d for change to offer work placements, work experience and further job opportunities to housing association residents.
Sustainability D B Services are fully committed to reducing our impact on the environment and have a long term commitment to staff training and initiatives in this regard. We operate a full environmental system in line with ISO14001.
Human Resources We recognise that our staff members are the most important resource in the work we provide and are committed to staff development over the course of their employment with the company and to maintaining staff morale.
Training All of our staff members receive thorough induction training, health and safety training and customer care training on joining the company and then regular updates throughout their employment. All staff members receive regular appraisals and are encouraged to identify further training they would like to undertake to improve their personal performance.
